pEXPR hEF1a-SV40: eYFP

This expression vector contains a constitutively expressed stop signal and yellow fluorescent protein. It includes hEF1a-SV40, an entry vector containing constitutive mammalian promoter human elongation factor 1 alpha (hEF1a) and transcriptional stop signal SV40, as well as eYFP. This part was designed to prove that the transcriptional stop signal SV40 would prevent transcription of the following gene. However, our experimental results show that this part did not successfully stop transcription of eYFP.
